Overview:

Jackson Purchase Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced acute care environment, ensuring safety and efficiency in all aspects of emergency nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage in the ER setting.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Kentucky or compact state eligibility.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
Candidates with combined ICU and ED experience will also be considered.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
