Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/23/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) Location: Maryville, IL 62062 Start date: 02/23/2026 Duration: 13 week Contract Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Local Pay Rate: $55/Hr - $57.5/Hr on w2 Travel Pay Rate: $2308/week - $2344/week Job Description: • Weekend Coverage: Every Third Weekend • Medication System: Pyxis • Documentation System: MediTech • Communication System: Vocera Required Skills: • General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi • Interpretation & Management of Dysrhythmias • Blood Product Administration, Central Line Care/Management • Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV Sedation, IV Vasopressors • Procedural Sedation Administration • CVA, Ortho-Trauma, Head Injury, Near Drowning • Interpretation of ABGs, Isolation Precautions Responsibilities: • Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. • Quickly assessing patient needs. • Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. • Performing minor medical operations. • Cleaning wounds. Drawing blood. • Maintaining emergency room care standards. • Assisting with insurance paperwork. • Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process. • Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
