$2,250 – $2,310

Rotating weekends required

Emergency Department (20 headwall beds, 4 hall beds)

Dress Code:

Navy blue scrubs, professional fit

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license (required at time of submission)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC

Experience with stroke and STEMI protocols preferred

Trauma and pediatric emergency nursing experience preferred

Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills

Compliance with hospital dress code (navy blue scrubs)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Manage patient ratios of 4:1 (may increase to 6:1 for low acuity)

Perform triage, assessment, and documentation using EPIC EMR

Participate in trauma, stroke, and STEMI care protocols

Provide pediatric emergency care as needed

Perform clinical procedures such as splinting and breathing treatments

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including Charge RN, Flow Coordinator, ED Tech, and Unit Secretary

Float to other clinical areas as needed

Maintain a positive, efficient, and team-oriented approach
