Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Combination of Mid and Night Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Experience in Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Moderate Sedation Description: Emergency Department opening in a level III trauma center. The facility has 198 beds and offers comprehensive healthcare services. The healthcare team delivers care to a diverse population, providing various medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. This location is renowned for its beautiful landscapes and multiple recreational activities. The department features a team nursing model and a Pod System. Social workers are assigned to the department and an educator is available on the unit. The emergency department has 48 beds with flexible space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in the Fast Track area. Advanced equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, and Ultrasound Guided IV systems. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The patient population includes adults with various medical conditions, including respiratory and psychiatric issues.
