MedSurg RN Needed for Oncology Unit

D/N Rotations ONLY

Minimum 1.5 Years of Recent Lvl I or Comparable Lvl II Trauma within the last 2 Years.
- Comparable Lvl II needs to be 250+ Beds (Higher Metro Area or Similar Patient Populations)
Certs.: BLS
License: NH/Compact state

Preferred Experience:

- Chest tubes Tubes Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone

- Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients

- Trachs/Laryngectomies Telemetry Complex wounds

- Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

24 beds of Hematology/Oncology/Gyn Oncology and med surg. 9 beds of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. Administer Chemotherapy, manage side effects, patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes. Most common dx include lymphoma, leukemia and ovarian cancers.
