• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630-$1750
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Unit Size: 12 beds, average census 8
• Scrubs: Caribbean Blue (not provided)
• Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience (new travel nurses welcome)
• Active Maryland or Compact State RN license
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Proficient in telemetry and ventilator management
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting system
• Ability to float to IMC/PCU units as needed
• Weekend and holiday shifts required per unit needs
• Two supervisor references required

ICU RN Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Manage patients with acute respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, shock, diabetic ketoacidosis, renal failure, stroke, and post-operative care
• Perform advanced ICU skills: arterial line management, ventilator management, central/PICC line care, blood product administration, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Assist providers with intubation, central line placement, and chest tube placement
• Interpret EKGs, arterial blood gases, and manage dysrhythmias
• Float to IMC/PCU units as required (patient ratio 1:4 outside ICU)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions
