ICU RN Job Details – Cleveland, Ohio • Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44106 – University Circle, a leading destination for healthcare professionals and cultural experiences • Unit: 19-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) • Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU / Neuro ICU • Start Date: January 26, 2026 • End Date: April 26, 2026 • Contract Length: 13 weeks • Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), weekend block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) • Hours per Week: 36 • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960 • Patient Ratio: 2-3:1 Registered Nurse Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs) • Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro ICU, Neurosurgical ICU, or critical care nursing experience • RN Critical Care certification (CCRN) preferred • Ability to float to other ICU or step-down units as needed • Completion of onboarding requirements: background check, health screenings, competency exams • Valid Driver's License or State ID ICU RN Responsibilities • Provide advanced nursing care to patients with acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-neurosurgical needs • Perform frequent neurological assessments and invasive intracranial pressure monitoring • Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and coordinate diagnostic procedures (CT, MRI, Angiography) • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes • Float to other ICU or step-down units as required • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation Ready to take your critical care nursing career to the next level?
