Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current Michigan license and strong float experience for a night shift role.
Responsibilities
• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with required floating to Med Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delivers patient education and supports family members
• Participates in multidisciplinary team strategies and problem-solving
• Adheres to infection control, medication safety, and hospital policies
• Requires strong team communication and leadership skills
• Must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care
• Up to five days of requested time off may be considered
Requirements
• Current and active MI RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
• Must have experience floating to PCU, Med Surg, and Telemetry units
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions permitted
