Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical and patient care skills in a fast-paced L&D environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
• Deliver compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with obstetric procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
