Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in a high-impact clinical environment where your expertise directly influences patient outcomes. This role is central to delivering exceptional patient care utilizing the nursing process within established regulatory and professional standards. As a leader in your unit, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and help achieve department goals through compassionate and evidence-based practices. Pay Package: $29 per hour with $1,100 weekly stipend
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to clearly present information and collaborate across disciplines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience using the nursing process for patient care delivery
• Strong assessment, teaching, and delegation skills
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to nursing practice
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a Labor and Delivery environment
Other Requirements:
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
• Physical ability to perform heavy work, including moving objects up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for significant periods
• Understanding of occupational risks related to exposure to hazardous medications, waste, and infectious materials
• May require shift work, including nights, weekends, or holidays depending on department needs
