About the Role

Tenet Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, Arizona. This position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns in a respected hospital environment.
Assignment Details
• Facility: Tenet Healthcare / Abrazo Arrowhead Campus – Labor & Delivery Unit
• Location: Glendale, Arizona
• Start Date: December 16, 2025 – December 29, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 07:00 – 19:30 (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours: Standard contract, 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Support newborn care immediately following birth, including assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care.
• Educate patients and families on birth plans, recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based practices.
Minimum Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Travel nursing experience in L&D or maternal-child health units.
• Advanced certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and ACLS.
• Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.
