BLS & ACLS – Required
• NRP - Required
• AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring - Required
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
• L&D Experience - Required: 2 Years
Cerner Experience Required
"Patient population includes, Females of childbearing years, pregnant 17 weeks gestation, laboring, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage (we try not to do these on the unit)), and Triage issues.
The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C/S).
Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes Fetal Monitors,
Cerner and Fetalink documentation.
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title: RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
