Job Summary:
• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Required Certification and Licensure:
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS
Schedule:
• 7:00am – 7:30pm (MUST WORK SATURDAY and SUNDAY)
• 7:00pm – 7:30am (MUST WORK SATURDAY and SUNDAY)
Systems/Experience:
• Comfortable working with CPN and Cerner
Experience:
• 3 years of LandD experience required. (2 years for Days shift position)
• 1 year Cerner experience
• Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care.
Required Education:
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
