Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery - Obstetrics position in Ohio requiring 2+ years of OB experience and specialty certifications.
Responsibilities
• Labor and Delivery - Obstetrics unit in a hospital setting
• Varied shifts preferred, but day or night shifts may be available
• Responsible for providing care throughout labor and delivery, including functioning as a first assist and scrubbing OB cases
• Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• Candidates will support all aspects of OB care including first assist and scrubbing as needed
• Relevant skills checklist must be current within one year
Requirements
• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• BLS (AHA) certification required (can be pending at time of consideration)
• Active ACLS (AHA) or ALSO, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB preferred
