Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Norwalk, OH Agency: LLC Pay: $55 to $60 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with LLC to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Norwalk, Ohio, 44857! RN - Long-Term Care (LTC) Responsibilities • Assess and monitor residents' medical conditions and document changes promptly. • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies. • Develop, implement, and update care plans based on resident needs and health status. • Provide wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and chronic disease management. • Supervise and support CNA/LPN staff, ensuring quality and consistency in resident care. • Coordinate with physicians, therapy teams, and families to optimize resident outcomes. • Assist with activities of daily living support (ADLs) as needed while promoting independence. • Ensure accurate documentation in EMR and maintain clear communication across shifts. • Monitor for signs of infection, falls, and safety concerns, and initiate appropriate interventions. • Respond to emergencies and provide stabilization until higher care can be arranged if needed. • Participate in care conferences and facility compliance activities (state surveys, audits, etc.). • Maintain compassionate resident-centered care with dignity, empathy, and patience.
