Med/Surg RN Job Details • Location: Dublin, Ohio 43016 (Greater Columbus area) • Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation Hospital • Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract • Start Date: February 16, 2026 • Contract Duration: 13 weeks • Shift: 12-hour night shifts • Hours per Week: 36 • Openings: 3 Med/Surg RN positions available Registered Nurse Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio or compact state • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – required before first shift • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – required before first shift • Minimum 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience as a Med/Surg RN • EPIC EMR experience preferred Med/Surg RN Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams • Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate • Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR system • Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the time of admission • Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care • Supervise and provide guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff • Promote a culture of patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols • Contribute to team building and maintain a supportive work environment • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing professionals Discover the charm of Dublin, OH—a top destination for Ohio nursing jobs, known for its scenic parks, excellent schools, and proximity to Columbus.
