This specialized role focuses on Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and is ideal for a nurse with strong experience in auditing, compliance, and clinical reporting. All candidates will be clinically interviewed, and interview availability must be submitted. Assignment Details • Location: New Mexico • Contract Length: 27 weeks • Schedule: Monday–Friday • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Shift: Day shift Responsibilities • Conduct quality audits and performance improvement reviews • Review nursing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance • Perform medication audits, infection control audits, and wound care audits • Track quality indicators and prepare reports for leadership and compliance teams • Monitor adherence to state and federal regulations • Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives • Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams Requirements • Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license • Previous QAPI / quality auditing experience required • Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care experience required • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and survey preparation • Experience with reporting, tracking, and documentation systems • Must meet all compliance and credentialing requirements • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills This travel assignment is ideal for nurses seeking a weekday-only schedule, a long-term contract, and a specialized role in quality and compliance within a SNF/LTC setting.
