Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Med Surg • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/16/2026 • Duration: 52 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights • Employment Type: Travel Position Overview We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to provide inpatient nursing services at the Rosebud IHS Hospital. The role supports acute staffing shortages and delivers comprehensive patient care in accordance with IHS policies, Joint Commission (TJC), and CMS standards. Work Schedule • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM • Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM • 30-minute unpaid lunch break • Compressed schedule • Overtime paid at regular hourly rate • No on-call or standby requirements • Maximum of one (1) unplanned absence per quarter Key Responsibilities • Provide safe, high-quality inpatient medical-surgical nursing care • Perform patient assessments, documentation, and charting in a timely manner • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards • Participate in Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement (QA/PI), and chart reviews • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when caring for the Native American population • Utilize EHR/RPMS systems for documentation and order management Please attach following for moving forward.
