Travel Nursing Job Details
• Location: Huntingdon, Pennsylvania 16652 (Central PA)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Unit: IMCU / Med/Surg Telemetry
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• End Date: April 20, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift (7:00pm – 7:00am) with occasional Day Shift rotation (7:30am – 7:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Charting System: Cerner EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or IMCU nursing jobs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Ability to float to Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Previous charge nurse or community hospital experience preferred
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline background check promptly after contract signing
• Lab work required within 72 hours of contract signing
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Huntingdon, PA

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical, surgical, and cardiac patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV medications; manage central and peripheral lines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as needed
• Perform wound care, manage feeding tubes, and provide tracheostomy care
• Accurately document patient care in Cerner EMR
• Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility for rotating shifts
• Mentor and support LPNs and other clinical staff
• Float to other Med/Surg Telemetry units as required
