Job Description
Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers competent and efficient patient care, applies knowledge of growth and development for age-appropriate care, obtains and interprets patient information based on needs, understands required treatments, makes initial assessments, determines nursing needs, and documents assessments per policy. Performs initial and ongoing assessments, including review of systems, and completes admission assessments within required time frames.
Certification Required
• NIHSS – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• Current RN license (state/district) – Required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
Skills Required
• Med/Surg Tele experience – Required (2 years)
• RN experience – Required (2 years)
• Cerner experience – Required
• BSN – Highly desired
• Must live 50 miles away from facility
