📣 Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Illinois & Iowa (Dual-License Requirement)
⭐ Certification Requirements
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
📍 License Requirements
• Active Illinois RN license at time of submission
• Iowa RN license also required
• If not active: traveler must provide proof of IA single-state or compact license application with compliance documents
🏥 About the Facility / Unit Requirements
Med Surg candidates MUST have cardiac experience
• Open heart experience strongly preferred
Skills & Equipment Involved:
• Chest tubes
• FemStop devices
• Trachs
• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBIs)
• Drains
• Central lines
Additional Expectations:
• May be required to function as Charge RN
• May be required to precept new hires
