Travel Nursing Job Details • Location: Cleveland, OH (Ohio travel nursing job) • Unit/Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry (acute care hospital) • Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse • Contract Dates: 03/13/2026 – 06/12/2026 (13 weeks) • Schedule: 36 hours/week; 3 shifts/week (3x12) • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts • Shift Options: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); rotation may be required based on unit needs • Orientation: Includes clinical assessments (ECG rhythm recognition and medication calculation competency) • Holiday Requirement: Work at least every other holiday Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements • Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience (travel experience accepted); plus 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments • License: Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand) • Certifications (active, no pending): BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, NIHSS • References: One current/previous manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference in the specialty • Competencies: Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and medication calculation assessments during orientation (limited retake policy applies) Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities • Provide safe, evidence-based acute care nursing to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit • Continuously monitor, interpret, and document telemetry rhythms; escalate changes in patient condition promptly • Administer medications and IV therapies accurately, following facility protocols, medication safety standards, and best practices • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized plans of care, and document clearly in the medical record • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, case management, and ancillary teams to support patient progression and discharge planning • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and post-discharge care needs • Support unit workflow by floating or rotating shifts as needed to meet operational demands Apply now to join this Cleveland, Ohio travel nursing contract and advance your Med/Surg Telemetry RN career.
