Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and work collaboratively with clinical teams

Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient status

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record

Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning
