Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Garden City, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/5/2026 About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years License: Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - NIHSS Must-Have: - Prior neuro experience preferred - Experience with Alaris and EPIC preferred Description: Hiring Process involves an interview with the clinical team. Candidates must float within the assigned zone. The traveler is responsible for obtaining suitable housing. Travelers will float to various units including General MS-Tele and several specialties. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 based on acuity. Common diagnoses include cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and general medicine patients. Heparin is an example of a commonly titratable drip. Each unit has a designated Charge Nurse who may take a patient assignment if necessary. Respiratory therapy equipment is available on the unit. RNs are responsible for reading telemetry strips. Scheduling is done by leadership for six weeks at a time. All time-off requests must be submitted prior to starting the assignment. Weekend requirements include 6-9 weekend shifts in a six-week schedule. Travelers can expect to float to any acuity level as needed. Charting is done using Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR.
