EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required to apply Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS required CPI (or equivalent) preferred Specialty certification(s) highly desired (PCCN, RN-BC) Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract B. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Two (2) or more years of full-time staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Cardiac Care/Cardiac Stepdown prior to any travel assignments required Previous Float Pool experience highly desired Experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred C. OTHER Previous Queen s Health System travelers highly preferred All travel RNs float as needed to similar/lesser acuity areas (Telemetry, Med/Surg, ED holds, PACU holds, etc.) Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start while the end date remains fixed, resulting in a shortened contract Requested Time Off (RTO) is not permitted during the initial contract period Additional is open to Hawaii residents, but they will not be offered traveler rates.
