Georgia Healthcare Job Details • Location: Cumming, GA 30041 (Atlanta metro area) • Setting: Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Unit • Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Job • Start Date: December 1, 2025 • End Date: February 28, 2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm-7am, varied schedule) • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570 - $1610 • Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) Registered Nurse Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in inpatient oncology or medical-surgical nursing • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state) • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required • Must be willing to work nights and required holidays • No local candidates within 50 miles of Cumming, GA Oncology RN Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to oncology patients in an acute care inpatient setting • Administer chemotherapy, medications, and treatments as prescribed • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives Apply now to join our Georgia healthcare team and make a difference as an Oncology Registered Nurse in Cumming!
