Job Details • Job Title: OR Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech (Travel Contract) • Location: Grand Junction, CO 81505 • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,320–$1,420/week • Contract Dates: 03/02/2026 – 06/01/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • Schedule: Monday–Friday (Full-Time) • Hours: 36 hours/week (guaranteed) • Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (varied) • On-Call: No call • Number of Openings: 1 Job Requirements • Experience: Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience • Preferred Experience: Orthopedic surgery experience • Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred • CPR: BLS (required upon hire) Responsibilities • Prepare the operating room (OR) and sterile field to support scheduled surgical procedures. • Scrub in and anticipate surgeon and procedural needs while collaborating with the perioperative team. • Inspect and verify supplies, equipment, and instruments pulled for cases to ensure readiness and sterility. • Label medications on the sterile field in accordance with facility policy, Joint Commission standards, and patient safety guidelines. • Assist with room turnover, including cleanup, restocking, and returning instruments and equipment. • Maintain sterile technique, infection prevention practices, and support patient safety throughout the perioperative workflow.
