Local Rate-$60.00 an hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 12-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating and/or scrubbing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Case Experience Required:
• Total joints (hip, knee, shoulder)
• Arthroscopy procedures
• Laminectomies and other spine cases
Responsibilities:
• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
• Orthopedic and spine procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment/supply setup
• Follow all facility, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
• Active RN license
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OR experience
• Required experience with orthopedics and spine cases
• BLS (and ACLS if required by facility)
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
