Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: OR - Operating Room • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 03/09/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 40 hours per week • Shift: 10 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Location: Chicago, IL 60637-1426 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 4x10 hours (07:00 – 17:30) Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room. Scrub and assist in neurosurgical procedures including stereotactic neurosurgery, neuro spine, and craniotomy cases. Participate in call rotation: one 8-hour on-call shift per week as needed. May rotate to weekends as required. Complete required orientation and annual competency modules. Requirements: Licenses/Certifications: Must have an active Illinois RN license. Illinois LPN/LVN and CNA licenses if applicable. All allied positions require relevant state or national certification. Experience: Neurosurgery and OR scrub experience required. Level 1 Trauma experience preferred. Epic charting experience Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
