Schedule

The position requires a rotating schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend on-call duties. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Job Description

The OR Registered Nurse will provide care during surgical procedures, assisting with the planning and delivery of patient care for various specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, and Endoscopy. The role involves circulating and scrubbing as applicable.
Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures by circulating and scrubbing, as required.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Provide high-quality patient care in alignment with protocols and standards.
• Document patient care activities and surgical procedures in the EPIC system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an OR Nurse.
• Experience with C-sections is mandatory.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
