Operating Room RN Job Details
Location: Voorhees, NJ (with floating to Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 19:00)
Hours per Week: 36
Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Start Date: November 10, 2025
End Date: February 9, 2026
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2410 - $2580
Scrubs Provided
No weekends, on-call, or holiday coverage required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (within the last 12 months)
Expertise in orthopedic surgery (knee and hip replacement), spine, hand, and foot procedures
Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (required at submission)
BLS certification (must be valid for assignment duration)
Circulating and scrub nurse experience required
Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Ability to float to five hospitals within skillset
First-time travel nurses accepted; prior travel experience preferred
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, focusing on orthopedic and spine surgeries
Perform circulating and scrub duties for surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to affiliated hospitals in southern New Jersey as needed
Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC (if applicable)
Complete orientation, required modules, and competency assessments
Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies
