Pay
• $48 per hour taxed
• $72 overtime
• $1246 weekly per diem
• $3166 gross per week based on 40 hours
• $500 travel allowance
About the role
Provide outpatient nursing services at Cheyenne River Health Center. You will support patient care across all ages. You will also support the Emergency Department when needed. This role is full-time on site.
Schedule
• Monday through Friday. Main shift is 8:00 to 17:00 with a one hour unpaid meal break
• Evening clinic and weekend coverage based on the posted schedule
• On call required
• Schedule posted two weeks in advance
Duties
• Deliver safe outpatient nursing care for newborn through geriatric patients
• Support Emergency and Inpatient departments during short term staffing needs
• Perform charge duties when assigned
• Complete accurate documentation in the medical record
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Communicate with providers, leadership, and patients in a clear and respectful manner
Requirements
• Active and unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and passed NCLEX
• BLS required. ACLS and PALS preferred
• One year recent RN experience in an outpatient or acute care setting
• Able to pass background check and free of OIG sanctions
• Able to relate well to the Native American community
• Must keep all licenses and certifications current during the contract
Contract term
• Base year plus three option years
• Full-time onsite at Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, SD
