Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 03/02/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Weekend requirements included • On-call duties required with 2-hour post-call commitment • Varied work schedule with flexible scheduling needs • Current RN license in state of practice required • BLS and ACLS certifications required • ICU and/or cardiovascular experience preferred • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of PACU patients • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for surgical patients • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for patient care coordination • Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members • Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses according to policy • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 pounds • Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides specialized cardiac and surgical services to the community.
