Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Washington, DC 20037
Shift: 12-Hour night Shift (3x12s)
Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to patient changes
Administer IV medications including Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient care accurately in Cerner
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state/district
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Minimum 2 years cardiac telemetry experience
BLS & ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
BSN highly desired
Cerner experience required
Must reside within 50 miles of the hospital
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title: RN - PCU
