Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Tele/Peds
Location: Devils Lake, ND

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory illnesses, infectious diseases, GI disorders, alcohol withdrawal, AKI, DKA, and swing-bed rehab.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings and updating care plans appropriately.
• Manage and titrate IV drips including insulin, heparin, lasix, cardizem, and electrolyte replacements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and blood products per physician orders and facility protocol.
• Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring as required (no monitor techs).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize ventilators, BiPap, heated high-flow systems, glidescopes, and bubble CPAP safely and effectively.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation within Meditech charting system.
• Support other departments as needed within scope of practice.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Pediatrics required.
• Broad clinical skillset including IV management, telemetry interpretation, and pediatric care.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
• Prior travel experience preferred, but not required.

Licenses and Certifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota (or Compact License – current and unrestricted).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title: RN - Pediatrics
