Job Title: Registered Nurse - PCU City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota Shift: 12 Hour Days, 4x12 Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 02/23/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will be responsible for providing care to patients with various medical conditions. The role includes management of patients with a range of acuity levels in a mixed Med/Surg and Intermediate Care environment. Responsibilities: • Provide care for patients with common diagnoses such as DKA, post-surgical conditions, and respiratory diseases. • Administer medications and manage IV access, oxygen therapy, and telemetry monitoring. • Perform wound care and manage collection devices. • Float to various units within the facility as needed. Requirements: • At least 1 year of PCU nursing experience. • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. • Must have EPIC experience for first-time travelers. • Registered Nurse license in South Dakota.
