Job Title: Pediatric Psychiatric Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Psych Duration: 15 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Required License: RN License Certifications: CPR, Basic Life Support Must-Have: Experience with pediatric patients ages 6-18 Experience with eating disorders and neuro disorders Experience with NG tubes, IV infusions, GI needs, and feeding tubes Experience with ECT and restraints Description: Pediatric Psychiatric Registered Nurse needed for a 15-week assignment. The position requires experience in pediatric psychiatric care for patients aged 6-18. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a patient ratio of 1:8. The role may involve floating to different units to care for patients awaiting inpatient behavioral health beds. Applicants must have experience with eating disorders and neuro disorders. Experience with NG tubes, IV infusions, GI needs, feeding tubes, ECT, and restraints is also required.
