You will provide integrated care for adult patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs in a collaborative, innovative environment. To qualify, you must have a current Colorado RN license and recent experience in behavioral health and medical-surgical nursing. Skills in patient assessment, crisis intervention, and teamwork are essential. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Recommended experience includes working with co-occurring mental and physical health conditions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting. The IMAP unit is a newly opened, highly specialized 12-bed inpatient unit, the first of its kind in Colorado, designed for adults ages 18 and older who require simultaneous medical and psychiatric stabilization123.
