The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center. It provides healthcare services to the surrounding region. The unit typically has 7 beds with an average daily census of 3-5 patients. There is one RN on duty along with a behavioral health technician and a desk attendant. Common diagnoses treated include depression, suicidality, schizophrenia, and drug-induced psychosis. Candidates should have skills in patient care and mental health interventions. Working nights may require flexibility in scheduling, including potential call hours if census drops to zero. This role involves direct patient interaction and requires strong communication skills.
