Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an RN, with recent adolescent psychiatric experience within the last 3 months. License: Current and valid state nursing license. Certifications: BLS (AHA) and willingness to obtain additional certifications. Must-Have: Must have recent experience with adolescent patients. Must have experience in inpatient psychiatric care within the last 3 months. Adolescent psychiatric and behavioral health experience must be listed on the resume. Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts. Description: This position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilize the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The treatment program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery. The approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while managing co-occurring psychiatric issues. The treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted withdrawal, stabilization, and education to ensure a strong and successful recovery.
