Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter. • *Exciting Opportunity for RN Surgical Acute Traveler in Hawaii!****Job Description:**- Join a dynamic team in a 34-bed adult surgical unit!- **Duties & Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional surgical pre and postoperative care. - Handle a variety of procedures including: - Abdominal surgeries (laparoscopic cholecystectomies, appendectomies) - Mastectomies - Thyroidectomies - Management of chest tubes and drains- **Essential Skills:** - Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (RPN III). - Proficient in pre and postoperative nursing care. - Strong assessment skills and attention to detail.- **Equipment Utilization:** - Vital signs machines - IV and PCA pumps - WOWS/EMR charting systems - Pyxis medication management system- **Licensure & Certifications:** - Required: State of Hawaii Nursing License - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)- **Work Schedule:** - 13-week contract - Shift: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays required - Possibility of floating to other units- **Nurse to Patient Ratio:** - 1 RN to 5-6 patients- **Dress Code:** - Standard nursing uniforms required**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
