• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
• Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - Telemetry Nursing
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 19, 2026 - End: April 20, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Scrubs: Navy blue or white Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in U.S. healthcare settings
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Willingness to work every other weekend
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Du Bois, PA
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing Telemetry RN Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with respiratory and cardiac diagnoses
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage central, PICC, and peripheral lines
• Perform patient assessments, document in Cerner, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Float to other units as required and adapt to varying patient ratios (typically 6:1 on night shifts)
• Participate in pre/post cardiac procedures, manage feeding tubes, surgical drains, and support post-MI and post-cardiac cath patients
• Maintain strict adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols
