This role supports multiple medical-surgical units and requires strong telemetry competency, flexibility with floating, and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced acute care environment. Assignment Details • Location: Manchester, CT • Duration: 12 weeks • Start Date: 2/16 • Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM • Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) • On-Call: None • Floating: Required across multiple med-surg units based on census and operational needs • EMR: Meditech Clinical Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care to telemetry and medical-surgical populations • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes • Administer medications and perform comprehensive patient assessments • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality outcomes • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record • Adapt quickly to unit workflows and staffing needs Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse license • Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience • BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications • Arrhythmia and telemetry competency • Ability to float between multiple med-surg units • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and time-management skills Contact: HumanEdge Health Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
