Occasional PCU assignments at 3:1 ratio. Overtime available at regular rate. Holiday multiplier: 1.25% Highlights: • 25-bed adaptive acuity unit blending Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care • Charge nurse responsibilities required for all shifts • Drip experience and progressive care skills utilized regularly • No call, call-back, or non-billable orientation hours • Opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with cross-training to ICU-level care • Float to inpatient units within scope of practice as needed Requirements: • Vermont RN license or active Compact license • Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications • Minimum 2+ years of current Med/Surg and Telemetry experience • Charge nurse experience required • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience strongly required • Drip experience required • ICU experience strongly preferred • Minimum 3 months of previous travel experience (non-negotiable) • Small critical access facility experience preferred • Current Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU skills checklists (within 1 year) • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years • Must have reliable personal transportation • Willingness to float within scope of practice Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced travel nurses the chance to lead as a charge nurse while caring for a diverse patient population in an adaptive acuity setting.
