Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM • 30-bed PACU unit located on the 2nd floor • Patient ratios of 1 RN to 2 patients or 1 RN to 1 patient depending on acuity • Experience as a PACU nurse required • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required • Must be flexible with hours and willing to take call • Work with EMR system - Meditech • Handle typical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic cases • Must have great attitude and ability to work well under pressure • Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 12 nurses • Night shift coverage with 2 RNs (sometimes call-based rather than scheduled shifts) • Travel RN position with opportunities for local support staff interaction Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive post-anesthesia care services. The PACU unit features experienced nursing staff with many nurses having 5-25 years of specialized experience in post-anesthesia care.
