HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Melbourne, Florida.

Position / Specialty: PACU RN
Variable start time options: 9am, 9:30 am, 10am, 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am, 12pm, 12:30 pm. call Monday-Friday is 11pm-7am (2-4 calls within a 6-week period) Saturday and Sunday call if needed can is either be 7a-7p or 7p-7a approximately 1 weekend/month. Float, holiday and hurricane is per hospital policy for travelers
• *need to know how to titrate drips**
• *RN will also be expected to rotate to phase II PACU outpatient discharge when needed. RN needs to be within 30 minutes of the hospital to take call.
• *Level II Trauma Center experience required. Majority 3 - Proficient or 4 - Expert in all areas of Neurological and Cardiovascular sections of PACU skills assesment.

Is on-call REQ? ?Yes, 4-6 night calls in 6 weeks and on call every other weekend (sat and sun) Call 7A-7P or call 7P-7A. M-F is 11p-7a, Weekend is 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Will clinicians float within scope to meet facility needs? ?Yes - required to float to all four hospitals. Travelers will have a home base but could float to any and all Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, or Viera.
Open to accommodating block schedule? ?Depends on unit need. Manager will need to approve prior to offer
Certs REQ: ?ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Pending License accepted: ?N – Florida State or compact license required at time of submission
Locals accepted: ?Y – same rate as travelers.
RTO Restrictions: ?Finalized RTO must be included with submission. RTO will not be accepted after offer.
Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed.
Scrubs: Any solid color, matching
Special Requirements: ?
- 2 references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within LAST YEAR must be included with submission
- Flu vaccine required 10/31-3/31 -- Medical/Religious Exemptions ONLY.
