Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care • Discipline: RN • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: 13 weeks • 40 hours per week • Shift: 10 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Position / Specialty: PACU RN Variable start time options: 9am, 9:30 am, 10am, 10:30 am, 11 am, 11:30 am, 12pm, 12:30 pm. call Monday-Friday is 11pm-7am (2-4 calls within a 6-week period) Saturday and Sunday call if needed can is either be 7a-7p or 7p-7a approximately 1 weekend/month. Float, holiday and hurricane is per hospital policy for travelers • *need to know how to titrate drips** • *RN will also be expected to rotate to phase II PACU outpatient discharge when needed. RN needs to be within 30 minutes of the hospital to take call. • *Level II Trauma Center experience required. Majority 3 - Proficient or 4 - Expert in all areas of Neurological and Cardiovascular sections of PACU skills assesment. Years of experience REQ:? 1 year First-timers accepted:? No Weekend REQ: ?Y - every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. TBD by unit’s needs. Ratios: 1:2 Documentation System: SCM Is on-call REQ? ?Yes, 4-6 night calls in 6 weeks and on call every other weekend (sat and sun) Call 7A-7P or call 7P-7A. M-F is 11p-7a, Weekend is 7a-7p or 7p-7a Will clinicians float within scope to meet facility needs? ?Yes - required to float to all four hospitals. Travelers will have a home base but could float to any and all Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, or Viera. Open to accommodating block schedule? ?Depends on unit need. Manager will need to approve prior to offer Certs REQ: ?ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Pending License accepted: ?N – Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Locals accepted: ?Y – same rate as travelers.
