We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operating Room RN to join the team at Down East Community Hospital. The ideal candidate should:
• Hold a valid RN license in the state of Maine (or be eligible for licensure).
• Have prior experience working in an OR — comfortable with circulating duties, sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative protocols.
• Be able to work full-time day shifts, fulfilling a 40-hour/week assignment in a small hospital setting.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication skills, adaptability and reliability — important in a rural/critical access hospital environment.
• Maintain professionalism, attention to detail, and patient-safety focus in all aspects of care.
