Travel Perioperative Registered Nurse - $2,366 per week in Polvadera, NM

Certification Details • BLS • ACLS • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Job Details • Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. • Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. • Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. • Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. • Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. • Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. • Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. • Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. • Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. • Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required. Job Requirements • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment. • At least one 13 week previous travel assignment. • Two (2) years current experience required in a small PACU and have Pre-Op experience. • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required. • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required. Schedule Information • 13 week contract length. Unit Specific Information • Experience required in a small PACU and Pre-Op experience. • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required. Additional Details • EPIC experience preferred; can train on-site.
