Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the mental health needs of our patients in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities will include monitoring patient vital signs, conducting observation rounds, and facilitating group therapy sessions focused on educational content.
Responsibilities
• Perform observation rounds and monitor vital signs.
• Conduct glucometer checks and assist with patient searches.
• Implement verbal de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Engage in milieu management and safety protocols.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for patient education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Must have behavioral health experience.
• Certifications required: CPI and BLS.
• Advanced skills in manual blood pressure, glucometer, and EKG is required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record documentation is essential.
