Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Location: Keene, NH 03431 – New Hampshire nursing jobs
• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown (Thompson Unit), with float to Kingsbury as needed
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990 - $2130
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Dress Code: Professional scrubs (no logos, provided by traveler)
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg nursing experience
• Cardiac drip experience required (must be noted on profile)
• Experience with dementia management required
• NIHSS certification strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Must have own vehicle (no public transportation in Keene)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Permanent address must be included in profile (local travelers within 50 miles not considered)
• All compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
• COVID vaccination strongly recommended, but not required
Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities
• Coordinate total nursing care for adult and geriatric cardiac patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips; manage complex cardiac conditions
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Lead and collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to Kingsbury unit as needed
• Maintain professional standards of nursing practice and ensure compliance with hospital policies
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Adhere to all facility and state compliance requirements
